Konak Church; A forgotten church from Armenians in Hakkari

Konak Church – Hakkari

Turkey’s southeast is as rich as the western side of Turkey. As it is the junction region between Mesopotamia and Small Asia, this region has been used as zone of transition. That’s why we can come across unique pieces of some civilizations. Konak church of Hakkari is one of them .

There is an inscription typed in Assyrian language. It is also a church with different features although it has a small dimension. Two sun watches are important components of the building. Its construction year isn’t absolute. Also it needs a reconstruction.

It is one of the legacies that Turkey has.

Awesome blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers?

I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for
a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m totally overwhelmed
.. Any suggestions? Kudos!
