Istanbul is province that we can come across every sort of religious facilities. Taksim square -(Pera was the old name) is a region where all religions live in harmony. St.Antoine Church is one of the great churches of Taksim square.

It was built in 1906. It is the fourth church. Three of them were built in different places of Istanbul. Firstly it was built in 1230. Then it was burned. All of them were burned in case of fire. It was designed by Italian architect who was born in Istanbul. The society of this church was almost Italian and French people who worked here.

It is still an active church. You can visit St.Antoine if you visit Taksim square in Istanbul.
