Typhon; A monster from Anatolia

God Typhon was one of the spectacular characters of Greek pantheon. Because he was known as “the father of all monsters”. His upper side was human shaped and his bottom side was like snake. He had a wife like him. His wife was known as ” the mother of all monsters.

According to the book Bibliotheka he was born in Anatolia. He was from Clicia that located in the south of Turkiye. We name this region as Çukurova today. Çukurova of Adana is famous for cotton plantation.
