Constantinople was one of the biggest capital of ancient times, it was so impressive that many civilzations came to this capital city to witness this glory such as Vikings and others. It can be compared with today’s New York. It seems that its glory hasn’t finished yet in spite of latin invasion.
In recent years, the treasures of ancient Constantinople are shining again. One of them was a hippodrome of the capital. It was the symbol of empire like other hippodromes in the Roman Empire. It was collapsed and changed in the history but its glory has never gone. It is still living with us. It is old and retired but a great treasure. Unfortunately we can see a few parts of the hippodrome at present. Even tough it is very small, its heritage is very deep. We are waiting for the restoration of the ancient Constantinople’s treasures. So they are going to shine again and the legacy is going to regain value.
Istanbul has many archeaological treasures like Hippodrome. They need to be fixed or cared. If we can achieve this goal, Istanbul and Turkish tourism will rise again. Also we are going to see the glory of the city.

Ancient Egypt is one of the ancient civilizations that shaped the world. Even it is still shaping our modern world. Every discovery touches to modern time and world geography. Ancient Egypt was the super power of the world before Roman Empire. Its background is so deep that its heritage keeps on affecting our modern world. That’s why Anatolia can’t be out of the statement.
We all know that one of the biggest discovery of 20th century was the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. As it was untouched, it opened a new a gate to ancient Egypt. Treasures of a pharoah were legend. A few archeaologists or people witnessed them in thousands of years as the tombs of Pharoahs were robbed. Till the tomb of Tutankhamun, nobody saw a real pharoah tomb. The royal items, the god statues and personal items became true although there were some discussions on them.
The dagger of Tutankhamun was one of the impressive items in the tomb. According to the works on this dagger, it is found out that it isn’t from earth. Its material is a meteor. It was a gift from Mitanni Kingdom which was a superpower in Anatolia after Hittites Empire. Mitanni king had this dagger manufactured in our landscape. It was made of a meteor that fell to Anatolia. Ancient Egypt was looking for an ally to secure the northern border. Mitanni Kingdom was one of the states that Egypt got in touch with. This dagger is the memory of those days.
If we had an opportunity to reach all untouched high statued tombs, what else we would have seen…. exciting????

There is a Roman bridge and a road that connects to Rome in South Eastern Anatolia of Turkey. It is located in Diyarbakır province. Those monuments are 2000 years old. They are still standing and they are ready to serve. You can feel that a travel with Roman convoy is becoming true.
I think that it is going to be a different experience for the travelers.

This picture isn’t from Grand Canyon of USA. It is from Anatolia where the civilizations grew. It is in the border of Siirt province of Turkey. Due to the terrorism, this landscape was far away from the public in the past. It is so impressive that the picture even can take your breath away. Siirt province is between East Anatolia and South Eastern Anatolia. The territory of the Eastern Anatolia is very high due to the mountain chains. The valleys and rivers are the best works of the nature.
With this beauty, there is another charming form in the region. A natural form that is like a bridge between two sides but also it is a rock. There is a hole in the mid of the rock. It looks like a creepy scenery for the adventurers.
As you see in the picture above, it looks scary. An adventurer should be very brave to walk on this rock. According to stories, many people fell down while trying to see this charming beauty. Thanks to the nature, the forces such as wind and water are forming great monuments.

The ancient times are very mysterious for the celebrations. We have the records that were prepared by ancient historians or poets. But we don’t have so much visual view for this title. Thanks to the archeaological excavations in Turkey, we can get some mosaics that show us how the celebrations were.
A mosic that was discovered in Kahramanmaraş province of Turkey gives us this visual proof. It was discovered in Germanicia ancient site which was very important in Roman period. We can see dancing ladies, servants and musicians on that mosaic.
