Çatalhöyük: the greatest settlement of Anatolia

Çatalhöyük (Konya)

Çatalhöyük ancient site was very important for the historical period because we came across unique items and valuable hints on human being development. Its size was so big that the population was around 8500. It was a site that unique items such as small sculptures and under house graves were unearthed. There were skulls under the houses. The major difference was the social life traces.

Today it is located on province of Konya where is in central Anatolia. It is like a time capsule because the items are dated back to 9000 years. Also the rituals of birth and death were discovered.

Tourism is a bridge among the various cultures. My passion is to contribute tourism and my country's publicity. I am a volunteer to achieve this goal.
