As we know that dinosaur remains are being unearthed in various countries. But we can’t get any this sort of news from Turkiye or it may be very rare. It is because of the geographical situation of our land. It was discovered that there used to be a big inner sea in our geography millions of years ago. It means that it wasn’t land. It was bottom of a sea. Even we can see the layers of the sea in some parts of Anatolia. The bottom of the sea raised up and became a land. As a result of this activity, we can come across fossils of sea organisms in those areas.
