During our independency war, there were some (even many) people who were ready to accept another countries’ government such as UK and USA. They thought that they had never been able to govern themselves, so they needed a developed country to be governed. It was easy for them. They were ready to be the slave of any country, but one man didn’t accept it.
This man knew historical background of Turkish nation. He was Mustafa Kemal. Ancestors of Turkish nation had never lived as slave of any nation. They had only one slogan; Freedom or Death. Living under the mandate government eradicates the national culture and creates violence against local people. Once upon a time Atilla, the king of Huns, stated that accepting another people as referee could make your destiny surrendering to the enemy. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is a leader of freedom. He rejects to be slave. His will is to continue living free forever for Turkish nation.
At present, we have many samples that proves this explanation. Especially in Middle East, we can see that the public are being separated by the mandate government. The peace has never come here until we understand that nobody will help us except ourselves. They have only one aim: to control the energy sources. As in the past, religion especially Islam is used for controlling the public. We had seen the same scenario in Anatolia, but we made it. Freedom can’t be lived under the mandate government of any country.
