Innovation is one of the terms that are being used in recent years. Due to the technology in the world, the services and transmissions are developing and it is getting more automatic. We can come across some developments that affect the tourism directly. For example, non-touch technology is getting so developed that we don’t need check-in desks at the airports. At the hotels, we use automatic coffee or tea machines. We can list those developments in a long paper.
Innovation can be a good process for technology but it can affect the employment in service sectors such as tourism. The countries which have intense young population have the bad effects of technology such as Turkey. COVID also fueled the technology in service sector due to the isolation including travel.
Also innovation should support clean environment and clean water. But we can’t see the proper application of this in some places. Also employment can affect negative. COVID affected the employment negative and also automatication fueled this negative process,too.
