As we have stated before Atatürk was at the side of peace (domestic peace and international peace). Although he was an officer, he was against the war except the homeland defense. If the reason is the invasion, it is named as murder. He was the hero of Gallipoli wars. He struggled against ANZAC and British troops. After the republic, he addressed the mothers of ANZAC soldiers, and he told them that their children had become the part of this soil so they could feel well. The grandchildren of ANZAC soldiers come to Çanakkale to memorize their grandfathers every year. Atatürk invited many statemen from the world even though he fought against them after the independency war. He respected them. He established pacts to guarantee the peace around the region. He always emphasized that peace has always been very important for the world. ” Peace at home, peace in the world”
We realize that international threat is one of the serious problems in the international agenda. This problem creates very serious results such as nuclear war danger. Also, it threats the civilization of human being directly. Today’s politicians desire power and money. Some of them are acting as a king. Those are the things that will break the international rules and peace. The manner of the politicians is very dangerous for the international peace. Atatürk stated that if the international peace had been in danger, it wouldn’t have been enough to do for a nation.
Peace is the most important instrument to build a beautiful world.
