A portrait of a head at Antalya Archeological Museum belongs to poet Sappho of ancient times. Sappho was a famous female poet in ancient times.
That head has been exhibited since 1970’s .It was found at Patara ancient site. It was thought that it belonged to a man. According to last research, it is Sappho’s head.
