There are a lot of historical fortress’ in Anatolia. All of them were built on the peaks of hills that dominate the territory.
One of them is in border of Amasya province. It was built on a peak of the hill. There are various theories on the founder of the fortress. It had been restored several times in history. It was used even by Ottomans. This fortress has an impressive scene and most of the fortress is well-preserved. The outer wall of the fortress cover all skirts of the hill. It is one of the worthvisiting fortress’ of the Anatolia.
