He has a statement: Independency and freedom are my characteristic features. He always defended freedom and independency in his entire life as usual (We, Turks, all want to live free in the history also today). He is aware that independency in every branch will provide development and improvement. It is obvious that we will face difficulties and obstacles in this path. But there is no way to quit for this task.

Freedom and independency are related terms because if you are free in every branch including science and policy. you are capable of deciding on your own life. He always knows that Turks are the people who can live free. It is in our genes.

Thank you, my leader,.

I always state that Mustafa Kemal is a wise stateman and soldier. It isn’t only for his triumphs and also his path to the top of the civilization. We can list a few leaders (it is still valid) that can match this feature. There are some features and reasons for this statement. Qualification is one of the features of this situation

Mustafa Kemal is a leader that cares about qualification. If someone is qualified for a task, that person will take over the responsibility, even though they might not be at the same side. For example, some of his colleagues didn’t have the same opinion about some works but they were the best in their own tasks. The differences can be balanced in a good mind and leadership. At every step, Mustafa Kemal was in the middle of struggle between past and future. As he always fought for future, the past tried to stop him. But he always convinced his colleagues in a true and right way. Qualification is the key to this application. As they were qualified for their tasks, it was easier to achieve the targets.

In present, qualification seems to be ignored in policy. That’s why, the people and the people are suffering. The wars and crisis’ are existing because of this.

We (the nations and all publics) have to choose our leaders very well. If the leaders lead the societies in wrong way, the disasters will come one by one. It will cause a global crisis (I guess it is in present).

I am very proud as a Turk because we have Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

M.K.Ataturk is the leader of national independence war. His habits assisted him to be successful while fighting for freedom. For example, starting from his childhood he chose his friends very carefully. His friendships in his neighborhood were the basic of his team. He knew that every individual was very valuable for the nation. He tried to direct the society and his teams according to the benefits of the homeland. He was very careful while setting a team for every level in the freedom struggle.

After quitting from the Ottoman Army, he kept on fighting with his friends starting from his childhood. During his military high school days, he collected many colleagues. In addition to the military officers, he had many connections from scientific and history area. He gave a great value to the people who did their job very well. That’s why he had a statement: One who loves his homeland the most is the one who does his job very well.

He also gave value to the teachers and education area. He was aware that education is the most important area in order to develop a country.

That’s why Ataturk is the leader of all times….

It is obvious that everyone has various dreams. Leaders are those who are able to follow their targets even though they face difficulties. We have to differ utopia and targets. So, leaders have to think and evaluate the situation and circumstances very well.

Mustafa Kemal Ataturk is the leader who is able to think and evaluate the daily situation very well. His solution is to know the obstacles on this path, so he is able to eliminate the obstacles. Then the path can take the person to the target. He is also a realistic officer and stateman. As his aim is to serve the nation he loves and the good for the humanity, his solution compromises realistic elements.

For example, as he commanded Turkish national forces at the battlefield personally, he had a good intelligence about enemy. So, his evaluation was realistic and wise. When the Greek commander was captured, he had a dialogue about the tactics and results. He surprised and asked who he was. When he found out the fact, he realized everything. (The Greek master commander was on Aegean Sea, and he was giving orders from there.)

When he became a stateman, he also used this application to solve the problems. That’s why, his movements were successful and long-lasting.

The world needs this sort of leaders……Don’t forget otherwise a disaster will knock on your door.

As we have stated for several times, M.K.Atatürk was a man of vision on everything. He searched the best approach to every subject. He knew that a great civilization can be established with logic and science. The main material is the society itself.

He had also applied that principle to the Islam. as he was interested in history, he came across many samples which resulted with the termination of a state because of false applications. He planned to teach Islam correctly, because a religion can’t be belonged to hodjas or sheiks. Islam belongs to all humanity and Islam should be united with science and logic. Modern Turkish Republic is based on secular system. Secular system isn’t only aimed to separate the government works and religion and also it leads to learn Islam correctly. A hodja or a sheik can’t be directed individuals or the society. Logic will be directed the people to the right religion.

His first move was to establish religious affairs administration before republic was declared. He aimed to practice Islam in our native language in order to be understood very well among the people. His effort was to protect Islam from corruption. The holy book, Kuran, was translated into Turkish. The calls were translated into Turkish, but this practice was cancelled because of radical moves.

His purpose was to protect Turkish nation and Islam world from corruption. The minds should be open and free. Thus, an individual will think on anything.

The first order of Kuran is ” to read” .

Mustafa Kemal (Ataturk) was a great officer and commander. He was a pure soldier. Briefly, he had acted with the military discipline in his entire life. Every soldier has been trained for war and fighting as he was trained. Besides his military personality, he was aware of one thing: to be right in the war. He had never thought that war was his whole life. He had some limits.

Firstly, he considered the war as a defensive way. It means that he never thought to invade other countries’ land. He agreed to make war if the country or the benefits of the country were under danger. He has a statement, If a war isn’t aimed to defend your land, it will be a murder. The country and the values of a country are in front of everything according to his vision. Otherwise, it will be the waste of the vital sources, and the people will die for nothing. He always stated that the military should be kept far away from the policy.

Respect to the great commander and stateman

The leader of Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, was a wise stateman. He had very useful and remarkable habits. Those habits have shaped his working style in his entire lifetime. One of those habits was the dinners where his plans has been made or decided.

His colleagues have described his dinners as a class because the experts of a subject (according to the agenda) and his close colleagues were invited to the dinner to discuss on the subject. He was explaining his plans for the country he loved then he was listening to the opinions of the experts and his colleagues. All of this atmosphere was running in a democratic way. Everyone had right to state their opinions. This dinner could take till the midnights. Then a decision was made He liked this sort of conversations very much because he had a value of qualification.

The world needs this sort of statemen.

Great leader of Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal Ataturk

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was aware that education is the most important system in order to enhance and improve a country. Everything is connected to the education of the society. Thus, he made plans for the modern Turkish republic according to this principle. He is also the master teacher of Turkish Republic. He read a lot of books on history and social sciences also he had a mathematic book for the next generations of Turkiye. He was a teacher in addition to be a wise stateman. He has also stated; ıf the military victories aren’t supported by technical and economical improvements, the results will be temporary.

He has some statements such as;

A nation has two armies; military and teachers.

Teachers, the next generations will be your masterpiece……

During our independence war, Greece invaded West Anatolian region after WW1. İzmir was the mini capital of the region. Greek Army expanded its field through the Central Anatolia. West Anatolian region was invaded by Greece till September 1922.

Mustafa Kemal was the commander of national forces. He was supervising and planning the military operation in the middle of battlefield. Finally Turkish national forces won the war and entered İzmir on 9th September 1922. A day after, Commander Mustafa Kemal came to the city. The crowd was happy and excited. When he was about to enter government building, some people placed Greek flag under his feet in order to step on it. He surprised but he asked what they were doing. They told him that Greek troops had entered the government building by stepping on the Turkish flag. So, they told him to do the same thing. He refused it and told the crowd that a national flag was always a symbol of a nation. Thus, he told them to remove the flag.

Even Greeks were the enemy of Turkish forces, he refused to be disrespectful against a flag. He was a soldier and a wise stateman.

We are going back to 1923. Mustafa Kemal was one of the leaders that were very famous in that political stage. So everyone was trying to get him closely.

A child from USA, he was 10 years old, decided to send him a letter to state his emotions. He had sent a letter. He stated his admiring, and he asked for a signed photo from the leader of Turkish Republic. Mustafa Kemal (Ataturk) loved and admired the children that’s why he had gifted the opening day of Turkish assembly to the children (23.04.1923). He was very glad to get a letter from a child, and he responded this letter.

He replied that letter in that way briefly;

To Mr. Curtis LaFrance (the name of the child)

I would like to thank you for your interest and thoughts about Turkish nation. As you wish, I added my photo with this letter. My only advice to smart American children (thanks to you) is not to consider everything you hear about Turkish society true, try to examine those words in the light of science and deep learning. I wish you a successful and happy life for you.
