One of the well-known statements of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is that ” The republic requires high- qualified generations that are powerful in science, mind and physically.” Atatürk trusted on the next generations to protect the republic. He also made plans to educate the people in high-quality.

The generation should be educated according to the various missions to be a civilized country. High quality education is the key of this mission. The country, the flag and the nation are the most honored terms for the nation. Every individual has different missions so they should be educated up to those missions. Education and vocational training are very important in order to develop the country.

Peace is the key word for a better world. Whoever you are, a human being should work for the peace. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk always stated that domestic and international peace have a great importance for the civilization. Turkish Republic is based on domestic peace. If there is something wrong for the international peace, Turkish Republic should adopt new conditions. That’s why, Turkish Republic has to be strong and safe.

A real leader seeks for peace at home and in the world. Some actions such as trying to invade some places for various reasons or torturing the people aren’t fitting the real leader. They should be humanist and wise for the world politics. Peace can be provided by respecting and caring the people. Domestic peace makes the national unity stronger. The citizens of the world are also responsible for providing peace in the world. We have different missions to achieve this goal. We can contribute the world peace by fulfilling our missions completely. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk states to vote the ones that have a good spirit for the nation and the humanity. What gives harm the country the most? To have politic fights gives harm the country the most. Because it leads separation in the society. It destroys the peace in the country. If the peace vanishes, the troubles will start. Then it spreads to the world. It is the reason of chaos in the world.

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is a leader that wants to live in a world within peace. Although he was a soldier, he never supported war. There is only one condition to do this: To defend the homeland. Except this reason, the war is a murder. His statement is that: working for public is more effective method to develop the country.

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is a model of a stateman that desires to be powerful against the enemies and to be caring for its public. When he was an officer, he learned how to lead people for a good way. He read books and examined history in order to see the false and true samples. So, he shaped his model thanks to the history.

His model is based on basic principles. A state should be powerful against the interior and exterior enemies. The state should have a strong structure in the national level. The public should support the state, and the state should care the public. At the same time, the state should care the public very well. The state shouldn’t make the life conditions tough and difficult for the public. The primary mission for the state is well-being of the public. The secondary mission is to provide necessary economic support for the public. The general rule for the state is to be caring for the public. Thus, the public will be happy and healthy. This fact leads the state to be stronger in the national level.

Mustafa Kemal trusted on the power of public when he made his plans. The public had also supported their leader and helped him to achieve his goals for the nation. The history always teaches us that a person can’t achieve all goals, but a leader can change the destiny of a nation. He always emphasized that his biggest aim was the freedom of his nation. We are living free thanks to his vision today. He didn’t think the moment, he imagined the future. Mustafa Kemal and his generation had to fight in order to survive as free nation. Nothing has changed today, we are still fighting for the nation. World always changes and it is important to adopt the new conditions. That’s why, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk told us to guide the science as the only source.

In the days of Independency war period, the situation didn’t seem positive for Turkish society. The enemies were attacking Turkish territory, they were slaughtering in everywhere they had invaded. There weren’t so many positive developments so the people felt desperately. Despite of this fact, Mustafa Kemal said the truth to the public. He informed the public in a true way.

We can realize the differences between the real leaders and politicians. Mustafa Kemal informed the public and the deputies how the situation was. At the same time, he had never given up speaking with hope and belief. Although we had faced big problems during our struggle, we were capable of succeeding our goals. It is also valid for today because we haven’t changed. When we face a national disaster, we unite against this disaster. Expressing the truths is a very important feature for the real leader.

I am sure that everyone knows what a country is or what a land is. An ordinary person will describe them differently or a nationalist will describe them differently. It doesn’t matter where you are from. It matters how you evaluate them.

According to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (it is actually native Turkish principle), a land becomes a country when there is anybody to sacrifice themselves for the land. When the public is ready to defend where they live, they make their land a country. A country needs love and care. Everybody should love and care their country. He believed that a leader should be a role model for a nation. While he was planning to develop Turkish nation, he was the pioneer of the Turkish Revolution. For example, he was the one who used the national products firstly while he was investing industry. He was offering his clothes from the national textile factories. He wore the hat while visiting Kastamonu. He taught Latin Turkish Letters to the public.

It is also valid for the family life model. Before the secular regulation, a man could marry four women according to Islamic application. The women had no rights and education. Most of them were ignorant, even they didn’t know how to write or read. They didn’t have any share in economic life. That’s why, they were like slaves except the role of mother. It was very easy to divorce woman for the man, but the woman couldn’t do it. The marriages were under the men domination. He wanted to change this fact. As he grew up in Balkan region of Europe, he met well-educated and free women in opposite of Anatolian women. He met a young well-educated woman (Miss Latife) in Izmir. She grew up in Europe, and she could speak English. She translated British and other foreign newspapers into Turkish for Mustafa Kemal. She also helped him to send messages to British fleet in Izmir. He was delighted with her assistance. He decided to marry her in order to be a role model for new Turkish public. His wedding ceremony was made in modern style. She was visible with Mustafa Kemal in social life. Her role was the modern Turkish woman. Turkish public was following their leader very carefully (we are still after him). Although this marriage didn’t last long due to her jealous attitudes, it was a good sample for the public.

It is obviously hard to know people. Because nothing is written on the forehead. Only small hints will give you an idea about this people. Turkish currency bill is the hint for Turkish public.

Atatürk means everything for Turkish Republic. Normally, he is everywhere in official papers such as the bill. The real lira is detected with a hidden picture of Atatürk. With this point, if you want to separate real Turkish patriots, look at the heart of Turkish citizens. When you see Atatürk in the heart, that’s real patriot.

Mustafa Kemal Atatürk isn’t only a wise stateman or a soldier. He is also scientific character. From his younger ages, as he was very clever, he interested in math. While he was growing, he improved his knowledge on math and science. Even though he was fighting for the independency, he didn’t give up reading books.

After the Republic, he had a math book published. Especially on geometry, he had a great knowledge, so he prepared a guide for the students. He aimed that those students would be the scientists of the Turkish Republic.
