Once upon a time, there used to be an acient site named Alexandria Troas in Western Anatolia. It was a port city and it became a rich site by the trade of granite columns. By the time, the geography has changed and the conditions have been reshaped. It became a lake so it had been forgotten in time.
Then the conditions have changed again. This time the water level got lower so the past showed its face again. The granite columns became visible again. Also the port which Alexander the Great stepped is on the sight.
They are like a time capsule of the site..
