National honor is one of the necessary items in his life. He thinks that national honor is the basis of a country. Even the main title is this emotion in order to survive as a nation. National honor requires to do everything to be free including rejecting other nations’ sovereign. That’s why he has this statement :Freedom or Death. If a nation becomes a slave, death is more respectful than living as a servant of someone.
