Especially in last three decades, globalism became more common policy in the world. It may have some profits, but it is absolute that it kills the local cultures. Differences started to vanish and the profits of strong countries (or groups) came step ahead. The citizens of the world began to suffer for various problems. Peace was forgotten and struggles existed in the world.
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk managed to gather different people and groups in order to establish a new country. He desired them to be presented in the National Assembly. Because he knew that unity is the key to the success. He didn’t want them to be same or to change their cultures. He had just joined them in a holy goal. Do you know how many Turkish Greek doctors martyred on Gelibolu while saving Turkish troops? Different religion groups gathered for the freedom during the independence war. Different cultures have been living in harmony in Anatolia for centuries. Muslims, Christians, Jewish communities or local communities of North and Southeast.. we can list more. The key of the unity is the respect. The most important phenomenon is the free country.
Global world objects to make all the world same and this world should be shaped up to some profits. This reason harms the international peace. Economic profits cause some places to be exploited. That’s why, we need local cultures and respect to the humankind.
