If you are looking for a place where time stopped, Ani ancient site is this place. It used to be a capital of Armenian Kingdom and it also used to be an important destination on Silk road. Briefly it was a busy and crowded city once upon a time. But today it is a lonely and mysterious ancient site. Even tough it is, you can see the glory of golden days of the site.
