A castle which is located in Manisa province of Turkey at present had an important role on the territory. East Roman Empire had the castle built against Turkic attacks in 1200’s. Today it is named as “Yoğurtçu Castle”. Unfortunately it needs care and fixing. Although it is careless today, we can see how glorious it was . We can see a wall outside of the castle and also an inner wall to protect the main building.
It gives us hint on military structure of East Roman Empire.
