It is obvious that Turkish landscape has many important ancient sites. Most of them have interesting stories for us. The findings in those sites are part of a great story. It is called history.

Prusias ad Hypium ancient site (Western Blacksea region) is one of them. Some important findings were unearthed in the site such as houses and baby tombs. Recently a Medusa carving was unearthed. It is thought that it is dated back to 1st or 2nd century AD. Medusa was one of the well known mythical character of Greeks. We can almost come across the busts and carvings in every ancient site.
