Global warming is the most serious threat we have ever faced. As a result of global warming, we are losing our water sources. It is a common threat for the world. When we examine the threat locally, Anatolia is one of the geographical location which is under threat. The water sources of Small Asia are drying. According to the statics, more than half of fresh water sources dried in 50 years. Also wrong watering methods cause losing the water source.

Anatolian peninsula has very fruitful water sources. As the climates have changed, the rain regime has also changed. The levels of the lakes gets down every year. Even we can see the residences that are under the dams came out. The areas of lakes got smaller due to vaporization and wrong watering methods.
