We are going back in time. We are in 1509, probably the end of summer. Istanbul was hit by a great earthquake. According to the historical records, in addition to the quakes the sea was dropped back. Then it caused tsunami on the Sea of Marmara. Many religious and public buildings including Topkapi Palace had big damages. Even Ottoman Sultan Beyazid II moved to Edirne for a short time. It took long time to fix the damages in the city. Mood of the public got lower and after a while it got better.
