The cult of Kybele of Mt.Ida was very common in north western Aegean region. Kybele was the guardian of wonderful nature and wild life. Mt.Ida – today we name it as Mt.Kaz- was the most beautiful and wild places of ancient era. Antandros ancient site was established there. The society of Antandros respected Kybele. Unfortunately it isn’t a complete statue.
Even Prince Aneas got the allowance to build up a ship from the goddess Kybele.
