Mt.Ağrı is the peak of Turkey with the height of 5137 mt. Eastern Turkey has a rocky and higher territory. Nearby Iran border, there are mountain chains. The area around the mountain is a national park today.
There are two mountains; Small Ağrı and Great Ağrı nountains. Both of them are volcanic mountains. They have been extincting for a long time.
